In the first season, a boy disappears and his mother never stops looking for him. Meanwhile, supernatural events were occurring. One of the supernatural events was caused by a young girl with psychokinetic abilities. The second season takes place a year after the first. 

2. Dexter

    Dexter is a crime drama mystery. It first released in October 2006. The first season was based on a novel called Darkly Dreaming Dexter, by Jeff Lindsay. The screenwriter of the television show was James Manos JR. It takes place in Miami, Florida. Dexter Morgan is a blood spatter pattern analysis for Miami Metro Police Department. He also happens to kill murderers. 

3. The Walking Dead

     The Walking Dead is a post-apocalyptic horror. It was released in October 2010. It is based on the comic book series by Robert Kirkman, Tony Moore and Charlie Adlard. The screenwriter of the show is Frank Darabont. The Walking Dead takes place after a worldwide zombie apocalypse. Sheriff Rick Grimes, wakes up from a coma to discover what has happened. They refer to the zombies as Walkers. If a human gets bit by a Walker, they will eventually turn into one.

    Breaking bad is a neo-western crime drama. It was created by Vince Gilligan. It premiered in January 2008. Breaking Bad takes place in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Walter White is a high school chemistry teacher who gets diagnosed with lung cancer. Walter and his former student Jesse Pinkman produce and sell crystallized methamphetamine. Walter tries to leave his family as much drug money as he can in the event the cancer takes his life. He struggles with the dangers of crime as he navigates his moral compass.

    Sons Of Anarchy is a crime drama. It was created by Kurt Sutter. It released in September 2008. Sons Of Anarchy takes place in Northern California. Jackson Teller (Jax) is the vice president of a motorcycle club called SAMCRO. As time went on Jax starts to question himself and the club.  SAMCRO is in the gun-running business. They have rival gangs and authorities who are always trying to hurt, kill, and arrest them.

    Shameless is a comedy drama written by John Wells. It was released in January 2011. It's a remake of a British series created by Paul Abbott. Shameless takes place in Chicago starring Frank Gallagher, the father of a dysfunctional family. He is a single father with 6 kids. Frank is an alcoholic and his family gets affected by his behavior.

    Archer is an adult animated spy sitcom. It was created by Adam Reed. The first episode takes place in 1947. It was released in September 2009. Sterling Archer is a secret agent for a fictional spy agency named ISIS. His mother, Malory Archer also happens to be his boss. Malory is constantly sending Archer on crazy adventures while pretending not to worry about him the whole time.

     Orange Is The New Black is a comedy drama written by Jenji Kohan. It was released in July 2013.  It is Netflix's most-watched original series. The show is based on Piper Kerman's memoir, Orange Is The New Black: My Year In A Woman's Prison. In the show, Piper Chapman got sentenced to 15 months in Litchfield Penitentiary. She was convicted because of her girlfriend Alex Vause who also happens to get put in the same prison.

     It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia is a sitcom that was created by Rob McElhenney. It was released in August 2005. A group of 5 friends, Charlie the wild card, Mac the bodyguard, the twins Dee and Dennis, and their millionaire father is Frank Reynolds. They run an Irish bar in Philadelphia called Paddy's Pub. They conspire against each other and purposely inflict mental, emotional, and physical pain in almost every episode.
